Anwer Kotob is NXN’s Director for Smart Cities and District Practice. Before assuming his current post, he was previously positioned as the company’s Project Director, leading client advisory engagements in the areas of smart cities and digital transformation of governments. In his role as Director for Smart Cities and District Practice, he leads client engagements and spearheads a team of consultants to help customers achieve their aspirations while delivering successful projects on time and within the planned budget.

With more than 25 years of experience in planning, developing, and implementing complex projects and customer engagements, Anwer, an outcome-focused strategist, is recognized as an expert consultant to educational institutions, service providers, and the public sector in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. He holds dual master’s degrees in Civil Engineering and Science and Computer Studies from the North Carolina State University in the US.
